Design and functionality
The hull of the CNB 66 was designed with speed through the water as a priority, while retaining the offshore seakeeping qualities essential for long cruises and short-handed sailing. The vertical stem, aft chine, twin rudders and bowsprit provide a high level of performance. At the same time, the many windows, flush deck, panoramic saloon, the garage for a 3.25 m tender (which can be launched or recovered in less than a minute, as on the CNB 76!)… afford a degree of comfort apparent when you live on her.

A dual-purpose cockpit
Since the success of the CNB 76 (16 boats built since 2014), the organisation of a single-level cockpit, separating the operating area and relaxation area, as well as an asymmetric companionway enabling an increase in the size of the relaxation space, have become key elements of a CNB yacht (already taken up by other boatbuilders). To innovate further in respect of movement flows, we have reduced the difference in level between the cockpit and the deck in order to facilitate access. A difference of a few centimetres between the cockpit and sidedecks provides easy evolution. Movement becomes straightforward and more convenient.

An innovative interior layout
The Bordeaux 60, a successful monohull in its semi-custom 60-foot category (46 built in 8 years) revealed an exceptional saloon oriented towards the galley, providing a unique living space for this size of boat. The CNB 66 adopts the same principles: the asymmetric companionway facilitates communication between the saloon and galley. The chart table between the galley and dining area is multi-purpose and can be converted as desired into a bar, desk or nav station. This is the result of many discussions with sailing owners, seeking to optimise space while adapting to new styles of living and sailing.

Being outside while inside was a seminal issue. With 270° panoramic glazing and huge portholes, it is impossible to take your eyes off the sea! As for the sofa area opposite the dining table, it gives an incredible impression of space. Moreover, its seating can be converted to accommodate unexpected guests around the table!

Cabins designed for greater comfort
The standard version of the CNB 66 has 4 cabins, including an owner’s suite. The latter has an off-centre queen-size island bed to provide greater privacy (the bed is not visible from the aft end of the boat when the cabin door is open). It has a bathroom and a desk. The VIP cabins are not neglected. They have double or bunk beds and it is possible to convert the double beds into 2 singles.
