Dee Caffari and here crew has made a good job to position themselves in the doldrums. They are in the lead with 2.8 nm from the 2:nd boat in Volvo Ocean Race leg 4.

Dee: "Happy with our position but frustrated with the lack of wind out here. Can we keep up with the successful shniggling we have been doing?"
The teams need to reach the Northeasterly trade winds, several hundred miles to the north. The first boat to catch this steady wind will leave some distans to the others.
These trade winds are expected to carry the boats nearly all the way to the finish, so its critical for the teams to reach this trades in a good position.
Dee Caffari and her young crew have made progress throughout the competition, could this be the beginning of a breakthrough? We wish Dee and her crew good luck.
